President's message

It's Not Too Late to Enter!

Publisher's Clearing House made the phrase famous: "You can't win if you don't enter!" That's true for the 2003 BCA Wilmer C. Fields Awards
Competition. How can you expect to win if you don't take time to enter?

For me, the awards competition has always been the highlight of our annual workshop. Not because of the awards, but because of the presentations. It's one of the few times each year that I get to see the work of Baptist communications colleagues.

Professional scholarship deadline approaches

The deadline to apply for a professional scholarship to attend this year's BCA workshop is Friday, Jan. 24, 2003. The workshop is being held in San Diego on April 24-26, 2003. The scholarship stipend covers the cost of the conference registration (approx $225) and lodging ($109).
