BCA MAKES $2,500 IN STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
Our organization continues to help students train for careers in religious communication through its scholarship program. BCA will award three scholarships next spring for the 2003-2004 academic year. The deadline for application is Friday, December 13, 2002.
A scholarship for $1,000 will be awarded to an undergraduate student and one $500 scholarship to a graduate student in the name of Al Shackleford and Dan Martin. The $1,000 Alan Compton/Bob Stanley Minority and International Scholarship is given to an undergraduate student of minority ethnic or international origin.

Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA and have vocational aspirations in religious communications. Funds may be used for tuition, books, housing or food and will be forwarded to the institution in which the student is enrolled. Scholarship materials may be obtained by contacting Keith Beene, BCA administrative coordinator, at (615) 904-0152 or at bca.office@att.net.

PLANS IN PROGRESS FOR SAN DIEGO WORKSHOP
The 2003 Baptist Communicators Association annual workshop will be April 24-26 at the San Diego Marriott - Mission Valley in San Diego, Calif. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the airport and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants.

Public Relations Staff Writer

Reflections magazine and admissions publications and maintaining the College web page. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong initiative, and above average computer skills. KEITH AND ELLEN BEENE are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Miranda Mai on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 8:12 a.m. Miranda weighs 8 pounds, 6 ounces and is 21.5 inches tall.

ERICA HENRY, public relations staff writer for Hannibal-LaGrange College in Missouri, is getting married Jan. 25, 2003, to Steve Baldwin of Raleigh, N.C. The wedding will take place in Versailles, Mo. She will move to Raleigh following the wedding. Erica has worked in Hannibal-LaGrange’s public relations office since May 2000.
